"First off let me start off saying, if I could give Dr. Lugo more stars I would! Being someone who was morbidly obese and hating what I saw in the mirror everyday was tough. I made a choice to lose the weight for good. I have lost 90 pounds and counting. When I first came to Dr. Lugo for my consult, I was at the high end of my BMI. One thing I appreciated about Dr. Lugo is her honesty. She explained to me the results I would see if I remained at that weight and told me the results I would see if I lost more weight. I have so many things to say I don’t even know where to start! First I will start with the staff. Kelsey, Crystal, Anna and Pam were so welcoming from the first phone call to coming in and being asked if I wanted coffee or a water, they were quick to get me back, quick to come into the room.

As far as the procedure went, I had two procedures completed with Dr. Lugo thus far and having a third completed this year! The first procedure I had completed was my 10 year old implants being removed. The big procedure I just had completed was the extended tummy tuck with full abdominal muscle repair and liposuction. I liked being at a smaller more reserved hospital where we didn’t see anyone we knew in town, they were quick to get us registered then taken back to get hooked to the IV and had a warm blanket placed on me. They made sure my husband felt welcomed as well as he waited. They did keep my husband updated multiple times throughout surgery as well! It truly is the small things that made my experience amazing. Our expectations have been well exceeded both procedures and this is why I will never see anyone else except Dr. Lugo.

After both my procedures I was never in any pain. I took the pain medicine for roughly 3 or 4 days and took ibuprofen as needed after that. Dr. Lugo provides the binder and skin cream to help with the scar as well. I also received a goody bag with some lip balm and now my favorite coffee mug which I thought was so sweet! I am a full time working mom with three children. A 6 year old, and a set of twins who are 1 year so I needed to make sure to tend back to them as soon as possible. I was back at work in one week. Keep in mind, I am able to sit at my job.

Today marks 15 days post op from surgery and let me just say I cried when I looked in the mirror after taking my binder off. Dr. Lugo truly is an artist with her work! You can tell she loves what she does! I have never felt so beautiful. I love love love that she includes liposuction in her tummy tucks because my tummy has never looked so amazing. It has been a huge boost of confidence in myself. I also am so in love with my new belly button! Dr. Lugo knows exactly how to give us women the shape we desire especially her being a woman herself!
